Centralbadet

Centralbadet is one of Stockholm's most storied wellness institutions, housed in a magnificent Art Nouveau building dating from 1904 and recognised as the first building in the city to be constructed from concrete. The beautifully preserved bathhouse features a grand indoor swimming pool, hydrotherapy pool, cold plunge pool, hot tubs, and Kneipp baths, alongside dry crystal sauna and aromatherapy steam rooms infused with rosemary. An extensive treatment menu covers therapeutic massages, reiki, naprapathy, cellulite treatments, and more than a dozen facial services including microneedling, while a fitness studio rounds out the offering. Centralbadet's sinuous ironwork, stained glass, and decorative tiles create an atmosphere reminiscent of early twentieth-century elegance in central Stockholm. Note that the venue is currently closed for renovations in 2026.
