Chi, The Spa at Shangri-La Jakarta is a serene 1,000-square-metre sanctuary nestled in the lush garden wing of the Shangri-La hotel in Central Jakarta. Drawing on time-honoured Asian healing philosophies, the spa features eight treatment rooms — including two for couples — and offers holistic therapies incorporating locally sourced ingredients such as turmeric, traditional spices and roots, jasmine flowers, ginger, and coffee-based scrubs.
